When my days on earth are done
I’ll be lifted above the world below
And I will seek the gilded gate
To welcome me to my eternal home.
I will approach the foot of Father’s throne,
I will kneel and I will weep
When in hope I give Him joy
For eternity to keep.

I
will scatter my prayers upward
Like
birds in flight
reaching
for Thy throne;
I
will trust in Thy wisdom,
I
will surrender my soul,
To
see more clearly
my sacred path home.

I lift, I lift,
Above the world below.
I reach and find Your hand
To guide me where I am meant to go.
You are my guiding light,
You are my all,
You are my inner compass
That will bring me home.
